| Artist and designer Kaypee Soh has long had a fascination with nature. Having grown up in Malaysia, he has always been inspired by color, texture and pattern found in the flora and fauna unique to the Pacific islands. His artwork is a self developed process, which often begins with an original photograph taken by Soh, and is slowly built upon, layer by layer, with handwork, other images and coloring. Some of Soh's works, for example his Tapa collection, are entirely hand sketched and then layered upon with color and other textures. Printed using the giclée process, artwork by Kaypee Soh will inspire the senses and fill your house with a sense of home. |
